This milestone solidifies Citadel's commitment to delivering accessible, clean energy solutions and further cements its role as a leader in solar and battery storage. Embracing the synergy of solar panels and energy storage, homeowners across California enjoy benefits like energy bill savings, protection from power outages, and liberation from escalating electricity costs. Established in 2016, SGIP is a catalyst in reshaping the state's energy landscape. Aimed at reducing grid electricity demand, the program, funded by major utility ratepayers, commands a substantial $813.4 million budget for 2020-2024. California homeowners serviced by major utility companies—PG&E, SDG&E, SCE, and SoCalGas—find themselves eligible for SGIP. Additional allocations target low-income housing, small businesses, governmental agencies, and residents of the San Joaquin Valley. As of November 2023, Citadel has propelled homeowners to claim a staggering $5,202,642.13 in SGIP rebates. This comprises $4,766,539.80 in paid-out rebates and an additional $436,102.33 in confirmed reservations pending payment. Citadel's streamlined SGIP application process has empowered thousands of homeowners to secure rebates ranging from $1,300 to $36,000. For those yet to install solar batteries, Citadel encourages reaching out to secure the maximum rebate. With expertise and experience, Citadel offers a seamless process for both upgrading existing solar systems and new installations. Installing a solar battery not only enhances energy independence but also brings financial relief through SGIP. As funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, Citadel urges interested homeowners to act promptly.
